We were called out to investigate a completely blocked drain servicing an outside building. The blockage had proven difficult to clear, so we used a drain camera and locator to accurately pinpoint the exact location of the issue.
Once located, a small excavation was carried out to expose the pipe. It was found that the drain had been damaged and cracked—likely due to traffic above—and tree roots had made their way into the pipe, causing a severe blockage.
The damaged section of pipe was removed and replaced, restoring proper flow to the drainage system.
