What is a drain inspection camera?

Specially made waterproof camera that allows for the inspection of drainage lines and other pipes. Using a sewer video camera takes the guessing out of problems hidden inside the pipes.

How does a camera work?

We insert a flexible cable with a video camera on the head into the pipe. The flexible cable allows the camera to travel through the pipe to see the inside of the pipe and the condition it is in. The Plumber can then determine the condition of the inside of the pipe and understand any existing or potential problems you may have.

During a drain video camera line inspection, a sonde transmitter on the camera can be located from the surface to show the location of any problems or obstructions so that the repair work can be done with a minimum of digging. There is no guesswork, so your problems will be resolved quickly and cost effectively.

What problems can be found using a sewer line camera?

A drain video camera can find many problems, such as tree roots and pipe that has collapsed or broken. The camera also finds leaks and obstructions. The inspection can be repeated after any maintenance or cleaning is performed to verify that the line has been properly cleaned or repaired.

When should my drains have an inspection using a camera?

This is recommended if you have repeated drain blockages or slow running drains and before you purchase a new home, it will make you rest easy that drainage pipes are free of problems that can cause  expensive work after your purchase.
